Game setting
Like other slots such as Robin Sherwood Marauders, Archer is based on the Nottinghamshire outlaw famed for robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. All of the characters you might expect are included in the game, from Robin Hood in his trademark green garb to Maid Marian and the rotund Friar Tuck.
The action is set in what looks like an idyllic forest setting with a lake in the background and a sunset, orange sky above. The reels are bursting with thematic symbols including the baddie of the tale, the evil Sheriff of Nottingham. Of course, there are also the obligatory playing card symbols that even the famous King of Thieves couldn’t make disappear from the format.
